PRESENTATION

The Kranj Police Directorate covers 2,136 square kilometres. To the north-west, it borders on Italy and to the north with Austria, so that it is in charge of 111 km of state border. It includes 199,085 inhabitants.

The Director of Police Directorate s responsible for the functioning of the Police Directorate and for the security situation in the area, with all expert help and support being supplied by individual offices - Operation and communication centre, Criminal investigation police, Uniformed police office, Director's office, Logistics division.

In the area of the Kranj Police Directorate, there are police stations organised for specialised areas of work, namely a traffic police station, and a station of airport police at Brnik. There are also seven police stations, Kranj, Trzic, Skofja Loka, Jesenice, Kranjska Gora, Radovljica and Bled. There is also a police station for compensatory measures Kranj.
