PRESENTATION

The Novo mesto Police Directorate measures 1,686 square kilometres with 105,857 inhabitants. It borders on the Ljubljana and Krsko Police Directorates and has 126.3 km of state border with Croatia. Like other Police Directorates, the work of Novo mesto Police Directorate is organised in individual units: Operation and communication centre, Criminal investigation police, Uniformed police office, Director's office, Logistics division and the Director of Police Directorate and police units. It has 6 police stations in Novo mesto, Trebnje, Crnomelj, Dolenske Toplice, Sentjernej and Metlika, traffic police in Novo mesto, border police station in Metlika and 4 police offices.
