The area of the Slovenj Gradec Police Directorate comprises 1,022 square kilometres with 74,339 permanent residents. There are four police stations - Slovenj Gradec, Radlje ob Dravi, Dravograd and Ravne na Koroskem - and police station organised for specialised areas of work - a traffic police station at Slovenj Gradec.
