On 4 September 2025, Italian Carabinieri from the Trieste area, working in cooperation with the Slovenian Police, located and arrested a wanted 41-year-old Slovenian national in Italy during the early morning hours.
The Koper District Court had issued three arrest warrants for the wanted individual, including international warrants/European Arrest Warrants, in relation to a number of criminal offences.
The arrest is the result of long-standing and close international cooperation between the Slovenian Police and the Italian Carabinieri, as well as the timely, swift and effective exchange of information.
