This year, the police have joined forces with the current national football champions – Celje Football Club, which promotes sport and healthy, active lifestyle in kindergartens and schools as part of its commitment to social responsibility in the Celje region.
Through the joint initiative, we are encouraging children, pupils, students and all those young at heart to embrace tolerance, spend their free time actively, socialise, use the internet safely and prioritise personal safety. The aim of our campaign is to encourage young people to step away from electronic devices connected to the internet.
In the coming days, we are going to publish posts on the social media calling on young people to get active: to swap their screens for the playground, to go outside, to exercise and socialise. After all, it doesn’t take much to have a fun day: all you need is a football and a friend or two.
Children, pupils and students!In the upcoming weeks you are without school duties – make the most of your holidays by doing the things you usually don’t have time for during the school year. Spend time with friends, play sports, explore new places, go on summer adventures and create memories that won’t just stay on your phone, but in your real life. Memories aren’t measured by the 'likes', but by experiences. Let screens be a part and not the centre of your holidays. Spend as much time as possible being active outdoors and in the company of the people that matter to you. And don’t forget about your safety. Stay alert and responsible on the roads; wear protective gear on your bicycle, scooter or motorbike. Be careful online too – protect your personal data, check information carefully and don’t fall for online scams. School holidays are a time of freedom and responsibility. Look after yourselves, your friends and each another. May these school holidays be active, safe and full of authentic experiences. Help4U digital platform
A new digital platform Help4U, developed as part of EMPACT activities, was launched in 2025. The website is interactive and guides users through a series of carefully tailored questions, each with several predefined answers. No data is stored in the system. Once the user (victim, supporter) has answered all the questions, the platform generates a personalised leaflet providing guidance on where to seek help, advice and further support.
