Dejan Kink, who was previously head of the Air Police Unit, will take over as head of the Novo mesto Police Directorate on 1 July 2026. He was handed over the affairs on 30 June, in the presence of the Deputy Director-General of Police, Donald Rus, by Bor Jeglič, who had been leading the Police Directorate by authorisation of the Director-General of Police.
The Deputy Director-General of the Police, Donald Rus, thanked Bor Jeglič (who is returning to his previous post of the Assistant Director of the Ljubljana Police Directorate) for his service, and wished the newly appointed Director every success in his new role.
