According to the latest Mirror of Slovenia survey published on 9 November 2022, the police won people’s trust back. Following a significant increase in the level of confidence, the police took fourth place among institutions, climbing from ninth place after last year’s first and only negative trend after 2012.

The Mirror of Slovenia 2022 Survey consolidated the results of previous public opinion surveys. The most trusted institutions remain "small Slovenian companies", "the civil protection sector" and "company, organisation of one’s employment". A major change has been noted in the fourth place that has been taken by the police organisation. The police have climbed from the ninth place due to significant increase in trust.

The education and military sectors and major Slovenian companies follow closely behind. According to the public opinion poll, online stores have also been listed as entities with a positive level of confidence despite recording a significant drop in trust.
