The police collect PNR data from air carriers for all scheduled and charter flights arriving from third countries or from EU member states to Slovenia and vice versa, and for flights with a stopover in Slovenia.

The obligation to communicate passenger data also applies to legal persons, sole proprietors or self-employed individuals who, as part of their commercial or registered activity, book scheduled and charter flights for passengers.

Free of charge data transfer by the "push method"

Airlines and other entities obliged to communicate passenger data transfer this data free of charge by the ‘push method‘. It means the method under which air carriers electronically transmit ('push') the required data to the police, thus allowing air carriers to retain control of what data is provided.

You will need to register to get more detailed information on how to connect to the Passenger Information Unit within the Police and access a web application to transfer passenger data.

To register, please fill out the form and send it to the e-mail address located on the form.
