European Mobility Week, the Vulnerable Road Users campaign, and traffic checks on motorways on Thursday – announcement
From 16 to 22 September 2026, European Mobility Week will take place alongside the national Vulnerable Road Users prevention campaign, which will focus particularly on pedestrians, cyclists, e-scooter users, motorcyclists and moped riders. World Alzheimer's Month: Raising awareness of missing persons with dementia

The Police play a vital role in locating missing people with dementia, as difficulties with spatial orientation can cause them to become lost or wander away from home, making them particularly vulnerable.
