Today, 3 April 2025, in Ljubljana, the official announcement of the results was attended by Deputy Director General of the Police Igor Ciperle, who accepted the award on behalf of the Police, expressing his joy and pride that the Slovenian Police has become the recipient of this prestigious title.

"This recognition means a lot to us, as it is objective proof that we as an organisation are a truly trustworthy employer and that our long-standing efforts in the field of employment have been recognised by those who are primarily targeted by our activities, i.e. jobseekers. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted for the Police in the survey for their views. This is a confirmation that jobseekers perceive us as a trustworthy, stable and credible employer. The current staffing situation in the police is not rosy, as is true for most other companies in the public sector and in the economy, and we are making a real effort to attract as many new recruits as possible to our ranks. That is why today's recognition is so important for us, as it is a reward for our efforts so far and an additional incentive and motivation to do even better in our HR strategies in the future," said Igor Ciperle.

About the Reputable Employer survey

The event is organised by the employment portal MojeDelo.com, creator of one of the biggest career fairs in the country. Their Reputable Employer survey measures how companies are perceived by potential and existing employees. It is based on the opinions, experiences and expectations of respondents who rate their employers, and employers where they would most like to work based on the information they have about a particular company. The survey takes into account aspects such as the reputation and image of the employer, the assessment of the working environment and interpersonal relations, promotion and reward opportunities, job characteristics, etc. The whole selection process is based on anonymous responses from the survey respondents. Based on all the data collected, a final list of reputable employers is drawn up, representing those organisations that are the most attractive and trustworthy employers in the eyes of employees and jobseekers.
