On Friday and Saturday, 16 and 17 February 2024, the Police College held an information day to present the studies at the college, the work of a police officer and the many career opportunities to future police officer candidates.

The information day, which took place twice on Friday and once on Saturday, was attended by around 400 young people who see a career opportunity in the police. Over the two days, more than 500 visitors – young people with their parents and other accompanying persons – came to Tacen below Šmarna gora hill. The lecture hall of the Police College was completely packed.

The most interesting areas of police work were presented on the college's sports field. There were general and traffic police officers, criminal investigators, mounted police officers, service dog handlers, members of the Riot Police Unit and the Special Unit, close protection officers, police officers from the IT and Telecommunications Office, etc., and a police helicopter flew in.

The young people showed great interest in police work and some of them will certainly make good police officers one day.
