On Saturday, 20 June 2026, the Slovenian Police Museum once again took part in Summer Museum Night, the largest promotional event of Slovenian museums and galleries. Between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm, it presented its exhibits to visitors and invited them to learn about the history of the Slovenian police.

Visitors could also view the permanent exhibition “From Gendarme to Police Officer” and take part in guided tours, during which they learned about the evolution of the police profession, its duties, and key milestones.

The temporary exhibition "From X-Ray Examinations to Modern Robots: 50 Years of the Bomb Disposal Section," which showcases the unit’s development, its equipment, and the demanding and responsible work of bomb disposal technicians over five decades of operation, also attracted particular interest.
The Summer Museum Night gave visitors the opportunity to socialise and gain insight into the stories behind the museum’s artefacts and collections, introducing them to the rich heritage of the Slovenian police.
