Purchase of equipment for control/surveillance of the state border, comprised the purchase of device for detection of persons hidden in vehicles, which is not harmful to individuals, diverse hand-held magnifying lenses with diverse light sources (100 units) and rapid test kits for detection of drugs and explosives (42 units)
Project results:
Rapid test kits for detection of drugs and explosives (42 units) were purchased. Purchase of diverse hand-held magnifying lenses with diverse light sources was accounted for in annual programme 2011. Purchase of device for detection of persons hidden in vehicles was not exercised because there is no efficient nor safe enough device on the market.
Financial information:
Costs of the project amount to 24.684,87 €. EU co-funded the project from External Borders Fund in the amount of 18.513,65 €, which is 75%.
