The most recent amendment to the Ordinance determining the conditions of entry into Slovenia, which enters into force on Saturday, 15 May 2021, re-introduces the option of terminating quarantine early with a PCR test on the fifth day after being ordered to quarantine.

If a person who is ordered to quarantine at home by the police upon entering Slovenia undergoes a PCR test during quarantine and receives a negative result, the quarantine is terminated. Such testing may be done no earlier than on the fifth day following the order to quarantine.
