There have been some changes on listst of countries as of 17 July 2020.

Changes on the green list

• Newly added entire Czechia, Poland, United Kingdom, San Marino, Vatican, Monaco, Andorra, Georgia, Morocco, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Rwanda, Uruguay,
• Iceland excluded from the list.

On its session on 17 July 2020, the Government was informed on the Assessment of epidemiological situation in the countries of the European Union and the Schengen area, in the Balkan countries, and Italian regions, compiled by the National Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Slovenia. As a result, it decided to add Poland, Australia, Georgia, New Zealand, Rwanda, Uruguay, San Marino, Vatican and Morocco (all previously on the yellow list) to the list of epidemiologically safe countries and administrative units (green list) as of 17 July 2020.

The following countries are also exceptions to which the regime of epidemiologically safe countries still applies. Although these countries are currently slightly exceeding the cumulative 14-day incidence of 10.0/100,000 inhabitants, this was not the case in the previous Assessment of epidemiological situation, when they were not exceeding this limit. The trend from the previous and current Assessment for these countries also does not indicate significant increase of infections and the data from their respective national institutes is reliable. There were also relatively few or no imported infections from these countries.

Countries that remain on the green list include Austria, Belgium, France, Spain, and the entire Czechia, with Canada, Monaco (both previously on the yellow list) and Andorra and United Kingdom (both previously on the red list) also being added.

As of 17 July, Iceland is removed from the green list.

Persons with permanent or temporary residence in a country on the list of epidemiologically safe countries travelling from these countries may enter Slovenia without any restrictions and without having to quarantine.

Changes on the red list: Luxembourg and Montenegro added

Due to deterioration of epidemiological situation Luxembourg, Montenegro (both previously on the yellow list), China, Algeria, Kazakhstan, Honduras, Israel, Equatorial Guinea, Cape Verde, Columbia, Turks and Caicos Islands, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Virgin Islands of the United States, Kyrgyzstan, Argentina, Seychelles, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, Eswatini, Suriname (all previously on the yellow list), are added to the red list as of 17 July 2020.

A 14-day quarantine shall be ordered to all persons with permanent or temporary residence in the countries with unstable epidemiological situation (red list) who are entering Slovenia, as well as all persons regardless of nationality or country of residence, travelling to Slovenia from these countries, unless they fall under one of the six exceptions (in items 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8) listed in Article 10, Paragraph 1 of the Ordinance.
