The Air Support Unit of the Slovenian Police has acquired a new tractor to be used to tow helicopters and carry out various works on the helipad.

The new tractor will replace an almost 30-year-old working vehicle from the year 1995, used for the old helicopters, which has become outdated and unsuitable for current requirements and standards. It will be operated by aviation technicians, who now have new equipment that will improve work safety. Over time, this new acquisition is also expected to reduce the maintenance costs and minimise environmental impact.
