Protective sun protection glasses for police officers from Maritime Police Station Koper, handheld magnifying glasses with different light sources and defibrilator for the Police Station Ribnica were purchase and subscription to web page, used for the risk analysis in maritime traffic was paid.
Police officers from Maritime Police Station Koper can now perform border checks at cargo ships in Port of Koper safer and more effective. With access to the web page with detailed data on maritime traffic police officers can prepare better risk analysis reports that are necessary for the effective border checks in accordance with the Schengen Borders Code. Handheld magnifying glasses enable police officers for a quick and efficient check if travel documents are genuine. Defibrilator will enable first aid support in the area alongside the border with Croatia that is under control of police stations Ribnica and Kočevje.
Costs of the project amount to 100.984,64 EUR EU co-funded the project from External Borders Fund in the amount of 75.738,48 EUR, which is 75%.
