Annual programme 2010

Purpose of the project was to improve border guards' efficiency at border control on border crossing points and protection of external border outside the border crossing points. Aims of the project are: promotion of efficient usage of modern technology for improvement of control of persons at border crossing points, improvement of efficiency regarding the detection of falsified travel documents and stolen vehicles, improvement of real-time information exchange in SIS and VIS system, efficient communication in english language. Target group are border police officers who perform task of border checks and border security, shift managers at border crossing points, border police officers who perform border tasks in all-terain vehicles, motorcycles, boats or helicopters.

11 types of trainings were executed.

Costs of the project amount to 13.414,00 EUR. EU co-funded the project from External Borders Fund in the amount of 10.060,50 EUR, which is 75%.
