Annual programme 2010

Purchase of 34 civilian police patrol vehicles for state border control and three intervention vans for transport of foreigners. Due to the lack of funds from the state budget for co-financing, results of the project were only partially achieved.

16 civilian police patrol vehicles were purchase and delivered to the police units for state border control as a replacement for the older vehicles. Procurement of the remaining vehicles was postponed for a year and was financed under Annual programme 2011. Thus a high level of police units for state border control mobility, required by Schengen standards, was maintained.

Costs of the project amount to 376.398,20 EUR. EU co-funded the project from External Borders Fund in the amount of 282.298,65 EUR, which is 75%.
