Project content:
Aim of the project was to provide TETRA radio terminals and equipment for police mobile users. Implementation in border areas is very important, because modern digital radio system offers secure encrypted radio communications which have to be performed in emergency situations. System offers also various services, like automatic police vehicles location and TETRA technology also establishes condition for cross-border communications.

 

The results of the project:
It has been purchased 1250 portable, 300 vehicle and 96 fixed TETRA radios and 2 repeaters with complete programming equipment. Besides purchase of mentioned equipment has police technical team performed several steps for final implementation. These steps are: configuring and programming radios, installation of vehicle and fixed radios, training of end-users (policemen) and measurement of radio coverage.

 

Project value is 1.025.307,90 ?. European Commission co-financed the project up to 75% which amounts to 768.980,99 ?.
