Sport in the Police 12 November 2021
 

On 25 April Director General of the Police Stanislav Veniger and Minister of the Interior and Public Administration Dr Gregor Virant received Robert Kranjec, Jurij Tepe┼í and Rok Margu─Ź, top athletes employed with the Police. Together with some colleagues they congratulated them on a very successful season and achievements.

IMG 0719During the past season these athletes achieved the following results:

  • Rok Margu─Ź became the world champion in parallel slalom in Canada and finished the season as third in parallel slalom.
  • Robert Kranjec won one gold, two silvers and three bronzes. He finished the season as second in ski flying.
  • Jurij Tepe┼í won one World Cup event - in Planica, which was his first ever win, and came third once. In the world cup ski flying standings he finished fourth.
  • Kranjec and Tepe┼í were also members of the Slovenian team that won gold in the team event in Planica.
