March saw the final nail biting world cup races in ski jumping and Alpine skiing.
Peter Prevc, an employee of the Police, won the ski flying crystal globe for the second time in a row and loses the overall ski jumping crystal globe to Severin Freund by one point.
In Alpine skiing, there was quite a showdown between Tina Maze, an employee of the Slovenian Police, and Austrian Anna Fenninger in Meribel, France. The last giant slalom race decided the overall winner. In the end, the world cup overall crown went to Fenninger, and Maze finished this exceptional season in second place.
