Today 3 April 2009 police officers on motorcycles from Ljubljana Police Station went on a condition ride from Primorska and back. Prior to their departure, they were addressed by Janko Goršek, Acting Director General of the Police, and Robert Sušanj, Head of the Traffic Police Division at the Uniformed Police Directorate.

In the Slovenian Police, 316 police officers are trained for work with motorcycles. Each year they are specially trained according to a specially prepared program.

Janko Goršek wished a safe journey to all police officers, and promised to join them the next time.

The police officers were driving on the route Ljubljana - Vrhnika - Logatec - Ajdovščina - Nova Gorica - Sežana - Črni Kal - Koper - Piran - Ljubljana.

Condition drives of police officers, who carry out operations in the area of road traffic security with motorcycles, are part of the training program for police officers on motorcycles; in other words, it is part of the preparation for work on a motorcycle.
