At the international road border crossing point Rigonce, which is located in the territory of the Police Directorate Krško, preparatory work for the construction of the new border crossing point began yesterday, 8 January 2009.
Preparatory work will take place until 12 January, when the construction of the new building will begin. According to plans, the work will be completed by summer.
Due to construction work, traffic across border crossing point will be obstructed as only a half of the border crossing point will be open - one entry and one exit lane.
Passengers who plan to travel through border crossing point Rigonce from the Slovenian side (and border crossing point Harmica from the Croatian side) are advised to start their trip earlier.
