The official part of the ceremony was followed by ceremonial opening of the new National Forensic Laboratory building, which is one of the few major investments of the Police in the recent period. Every police force needs a modern and well-equipped laboratory, which can at any moment perform forensic examinations needed to explain a criminal offence and apprehend the perpetrator.
