The Police Orchestra performs at several charity concerts every year. This year’s first charity concert took place on Sunday, 15 March 2026, to mark the 35th anniversary of the Lions Club Ljubljana.
On the stage of the Gallus Hall in Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana, our orchestra was joined by renowned Slovenian vocalists Alenka Godec, Manca Izmajlova, Gregor Ravnik, and the Slovenian Octet, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.
The funds raised were donated to the Special Education Centre Janez Levec in Ljubljana, which assists children with intellectual disability.
The Police Orchestra will perform the next charity concert in support of the same cause on 30 May 2026, at the Kongresni trg Square in Ljubljana, as part of the 20th “Play with Me” Festival. This is a way for the police to contribute to the well-being of some of the most vulnerable members of our society. And we are already extending our invitation to the concert.
The Police Orchestra are proud to be able to participate in charity projects together with outstanding musicians and in support of a good cause.
