On 22 October 2025, 158 students who completed their education at the Police College took their oath before Police Director General Damjan Petrič. An additional 162 part-time students also received certificates of completion. A total of 320 graduates attended the ceremony. May they have successful and, above all, safe careers!

In addition to the Director General of the Police, the ceremony at the Police Academy was attended by Minister of the Interior Boštjan Poklukar, Deputy Director of the Police Academy Danilo Jamer, Director of the Higher Police School Ivan Celestina, teachers and instructors, parents, partners, and other relatives of this year's graduates, as well as heads of 50 police stations across Slovenia, where the new police officers will soon be posted.

The Minister and the Director General of the Police congratulated the new police officers and thanked all their teachers, instructors, mentors, and other employees of the Police Academy who trained them.
"You are entering a profession that knows no routine – only people, situations, and moments that test your character. Therefore, let the following principle enshrined in the Code of Police Ethics – the moral compass of our profession – guide you on every path you take: police officers act fairly, decisively, and compassionately – in the service of people and the safety of the community. Be proud of your uniform, but even more so of your actions when wearing it," said the Director General of the Police, addressing the gathering.

Having taken the oath, new police officers celebrate the completion of their training.
