Today, 12 January 2010, on the first floor of the passenger terminal of the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport an exhibition was opened entitled Spare the Human ... Police Force's Activities when Fighting for Independent and Democratic Slovenia.

The exhibition that toured Slovenia no less than eleven times presents events that took place before the aggression on Slovenia and in the period from 1 December 1989, when in Ljubljana the so called Meeting of Truth was prevented, to 26 October 1991, when the last soldier of the Yugoslav People's Army left the Koper port and thereby Slovenia. This exhibition is one of the events celebrating the 20th anniversary of Operation Sever.

Celebratory speakers were Dr Tomaž Čas, chair of the organizational committee for celebrating the 20th anniversary of Operation North, and Zmago Skobir, president of the board of Aerodrom Ljubljana, d.d.. The exhibition was presented by Biserka Debeljak, the curator of the Museum of the Slovenian Police. The pleasant mood was enhanced by the quartet of the Slovenian Police Orchestra.

The exhibition organized by the Sever Association of Police Veterans Societies, the curator of the Museum of the Slovenian Police Biserka Debeljak and Aerodrom Ljubljana, d.d. will be open until 11 February 2010.
