The Slovenian government adopted an Ordinance on the temporary limitation or prohibition of public gatherings in the Republic of Slovenia, and the prohibition on the transport of certain types of goods and products during public gatherings.
A temporary prohibition on the gathering of more than ten people is in force. The gathering of more than ten people is only permitted if the minimum safety distance between people can be ensured in accordance with the rules and recommendations adopted by the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ).
The gathering of people at organised public meetings and events, and other forms of gathering for which the Public Assembly Act does not apply is permitted for up to 500 participants (excluding performers), under the condition that the organiser obtains the positive opinion of the NIJZ for such a meeting and event, or other form of gathering, and ensures the minimum safety distance between people in accordance with the rules and recommendations adopted by the NIJZ. An organiser must submit a positive opinion from the NIJZ at the request of the competent supervisory authority. The serving of food and beverages at such meetings, events or other forms of gathering is not permitted.
The measures enter into force on 9 October.
