The Government issued the Ordinance amending the Ordinance on the temporary restriction on the gathering of people to prevent the spread of COVID-19, changing the requirements for taking part in organised public events and gatherings in enclosed spaces. The changes apply from 28 June 2021.

Organised public events, public gatherings in enclosed spaces and public gatherings in open-air venues with over 100 participants are allowed if the participants meet the recovered-vaccinated-tested requirements (they either recovered from COVID-19, have a vaccination certificate or present a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result).

The amending ordinance no longer imposes the mandatory use of face masks at organised public events and public gatherings in enclosed spaces, as this obligation is already laid down in the Ordinance on temporary measures to reduce the risk of infection and spread of COVID-19.

However, the amending ordinance still includes the recommendation that the organisers of public events and gatherings and the people taking part in such events and gatherings should follow all the sanitary instructions and recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
