Today, 3 September 2009, the Minister of the Interior Katarina Kresal and the Deputy Director General of the Police Tatjana Bobnar threw a reception at the Ministry of the Interior for Rok Kolander, a top athlete employed with the police.
On 29 August 2009, Rok Kolander, employed with the police since 2002, won a bronze medal in men's four in the World Rowing Championship in Poznan, Poland. The gold went to Great Britain and the silver to Austria.
