On the third weekend of September, the police participated in the traditional ZgodoVikend, a major museum and military history event held at the Military History Park in Pivka.

The police presented the most interesting aspects of their work. They gave a dynamic presentation of the Special Unit and Air Support Unit, while also showing visitors police drones, presenting the mobile units and modern equipment, service animals, and advanced digital tools that enable more effective work by Slovenian police border units.

This cooperation was part of activities within the framework of the European Union co-financed project Procurement of Equipment for Maintaining Schengen Standards, which aims to strengthen security and efficiency in border control.

As befits a museum setting, vintage police cars were on display as well. The police mascot, Pika the police bear, brought smiles to the faces of visitors, especially the youngest ones. The officers also took the opportunity to promote the police profession.
