Director General of the Slovenian Police Stanislav Veniger and Deputy Director General of the Italian Police Francesco Cirillo on 12 March 2013 in Udine signed an agreement on cooperation in providing security in the joint ski resort Kanin-Sella Nevea.
During winter tourist season, Slovenia and Italy will as necessary provide mixed police patrols in the joint ski resort Kanin-Sella Nevea. Supervision on the ski slope is to be carried out especially at weekends, on national holidays, school holidays and during various events held on the ski slope, as well as on other days when a large number of visitors from both countries is expected.
