Slovenian officers return from service in Croatia

Details

On 3 September, Director General of the Police Stanislav Veniger received the police officers who served in Croatia during the summer tourist season.

Robert Gabor from Lendava Police Station, Janez Rojko from Ptuj Police Station and Bojan Triglav from Slovenj Gradec Police Station were seconded to Croatia in the context of the "Safe Tourist Season" project. They provided assistance to Croatian police officers in procedures with Slovenian citizens between 14 July and 14 August in the area of Lika-Senj, Istria and Primorje-Gorski Kotar police directorates.

The Slovenian officers facilitated communication with Slovenian tourists in police procedures and offered suggestions. This form of cooperation has been in place since 2011 when first two Slovenian officers were seconded to Croatia.
