On 29 April 2016, Slovenia deployed eight police officers to the Island of Lesbos, Greece, in a joint operation coordinated by Frontex (the Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the EU).
During the one-month stay Slovenian officers will support Greek law enforcement officers in dealing with the migratory crisis.
