A day before departure - same as their predecessors - they had a working meeting, also with colleagues who had been deployed to Macedonia before them. They were also received by Director General of the Police Marjan Fank. He summarised the arrangements and positions of both the Slovenian Police and the Ministry of the Interior regarding the migration flows. He had no doubt that the police officers would excel in their work as they were all very experienced and knowledgeable in this area of work, while some of them were being deployed a second time. Among other, Mr Fank wished the officers, who would no doubt face some difficult tasks, a safe journey and a safe return home.

The third group of Slovenian police officers deployed to Macedonia returned some days ago.
