From 18 to 20 September, Pivka was filled to the brim with almost 7,000 visitors, a record-breaking number. They were drawn there by ZgodoVikend, a popular three-day museum event that traditionally attracts not only individuals passionate about military history, but also families.

According to the organisers at the Pivka Military History Park, this year’s event marked the park’s 20th anniversary. They emphasised that ZgodoVikend can only be realised in all its glory each year through close collaboration with other partner organisations and institutions, including the Slovenian police.
